新世界维港泳十周年1,200名泳手全新赛道挑战自我
首度采用湾仔至尖沙咀路线 展现全新维港视角, 冼展霆与聂芷彦荣登竞赛组冠军
由新世界发展有限公司冠名赞助、中国香港游泳总会（泳总）主办的年度体坛盛事「新世界维港泳2021」，今天在维多利亚港圆满举行，约1,200名泳手成功横渡维港挑战自我。今年为新世界维港泳复办十周年，采用全新赛道，由湾仔金紫荆广场公众码头起步，以尖沙咀星光大道为终点，新路线为泳手提供全新的维港视角，感受尖沙咀海滨的活力。今届「飞跃新世界盃」由年仅16岁的小飞鱼张诗语夺得。
行政长官林郑月娥、环境局局长黄锦星、新世界发展有限公司行政总裁郑志刚、新世界执行董事薛南海及赵慧娴、中国香港体育协会暨奥林匹克委员会长霍震霆，联同中国香港游泳总会会长王敏超於今早8时15分主持鸣枪仪式，为竞赛组赛事揭开序幕。三位新世界维港泳大使，包括「神奇小子」、六面残奥金牌得主苏桦伟（田径）﹑世界盃系列赛冠军陈晞文（滑浪风帆）及「亚洲攀石王」黎志伟（攀石），亦专程到场为参赛泳手打气。
赛事焦点为竞赛组比赛，本地泳手们势均力敌，最终由冼展霆和聂芷彦独占鳌头，分别以13分44秒及14分56秒的成绩夺得竞赛组男、女子个人冠军。而年仅16岁的小飞鱼张诗语，游出22分22秒的成绩，勇夺「飞跃新世界盃」桂冠。赛事各项成绩将上载至「新世界维港泳」
近几届新世界维港泳都可见「飞跃新世界」的小飞鱼学员参加，该计划於 2012 年成立，藉提供不同免费运动课程，如游泳、篮球、跳绳等，协助基层青少年一展所长、自我成长。
今届「新世界维港泳」赛事以「浪接浪，一起创」为主题，鼓励泳手勇於接受挑战，创造一浪接一浪的成就，故特别邀请五位「维港世一」运动员，包括东京奥运两面银牌得主何诗蓓（游泳）﹑苏桦伟（田径）﹑世界锦标赛冠军吴安仪（桌球）﹑陈晞文（滑浪风帆）及黎志伟（攀石），出任维港泳大使兼「飞跃新世界」学员的人生导师，向小飞鱼分享「世一」经历，勉励他们在运动及人生路上敢於克服困难创出成就，传承「维港世一」传奇。
此外，为庆祝新世界维港泳十周年，大会联乘CASETiFY以海浪为主题，配上五位维港泳大使的人生格言，推出五款限量版手机壳，供泳手及市民订购。部分收益将拨捐世界自然基金会香港分会，用作支持海洋保育及教育项目。限量版产品於今日（12日）在CASETiFY网站开始接受预订。
